Zelda:BOTW

Anyone beaten this yet. I've done all the main quests apart from the final boss. Had 1 go at him. Didn't seem that hard in terms of him doing me any damage but after a while he starts glowing and doesn't take any damage. Haven't worked out what to do yet. Not sure I want it to be over.
He's a bassa like

Get ya shield oot and block when he hoys that glowing blue javelin thingy. It's best if you have rock blerk's special move

The javelin bounces back and hits him, he collapses on the ground

Pagger him

Rinse and repeat

Im just running around doing shrines and climbing towers. I havn't done any quests or out really, only up to the labratory at the top of the hill in the village.

So I knacked Calamity twice and the credits rolled

There was a star on my saved game

When I clicked it I was back in the castle before the fight?

Weird

Excellent game though, looking forward to the DLC

I can see me getting frustrated with these shrines. I have only done 6 and found the last one a right ballache.

Just arrived at the dueling peaks stable.

Absolutely loving this. No idea how far I'm through this. 3 divine beasts but only 40 of the 900 seeds and about half the shrines. Still need the sword too.

Can't wait for the dlc next week as well.

What's planned for the DLC? I have 99 of the shrines done - best part for me them...!

Trial of the Sword
When you get to a certain sacred location, you can take on the new "Trial of the Sword" challenge. Face an onslaught of enemies, one wave after another. Link starts the challenge without any equipment or weapons. When all the enemies in a room are defeated, Link proceeds to the next. Clear all the trials (about 45 rooms in total), and the power of the Master Sword will be awakened, and it will always be in its glowing powered-up state while usable.

Hero's Path Mode
This new map feature shows the path Link has walked through Hyrule from the last 200 hours of gameplay. Use the time tracker bar to see where you've spent the most time and where you have yet to explore. There's bound to be more adventures and maybe a shrine or two on the road less traveled.

Hard Mode
In Hard Mode, enemies gradually regain health, so take them out as quickly as possible. All enemies are also powered up by one level. For example, Red Bokoblins in Normal mode are now Blue Bokoblins. Enemies can also have higher maximum levels than they would in Normal mode. Look up, and you may also find enemies and treasure chests in the sky!

Travel Medallion
Somewhere in the world, there is a chest with a Travel Medallion inside. When you use this, you can register your current location as a fast travel point on the map. You can only register one location using the Travel Medallion.

2nd dlc is more story. Can't wait for more stuff. Addicted at the minute like

This is coming today for me. I've completeled every Zelda some of them multiple times but couldn't justify a Switch just for one game but I've caved. Is it really massive with tons to do? Looking at ordering the expansion as well.

It's really really big. Great game. Worth the price of a switch imo.

Did you use a guide? I have about 60 done I think. Struggling to find anymore

Couldn't get over the scale of the game. The large starting area is massive then the Old Man (I've already sussed who he is) told me once I had a paraglider I could leave the starting area  the map is f***ing huge.

Working my way around the memories, shrines and seeds for a while. Want to do the sword trials that unlock tomorrow before I head for the big bad.
