Wrestling - Part 3

Guess I’m the only one watching NJPW Battle in the Valley instead of the Elimination Chamber tonight? 😂

Interested to see how Mercedes (Sasha) does in a different environment and not many better to work with than Kairi, Jay White and Eddie Kingston has me intrigued a little more now as it has a losers leaves NJPW altogether stip now, Okada and Tanahashi speaks for itself and I can’t pass up seeing Zack Sabre Jr call Clark Connors a wanker all match and turn him into a pretzel 😂

Hope everyone enjoys the Elimination Chamber or whatever you’re all watching.

Stuck Elimination Chamber on and the lasses chamber is opening up and i'm going to sound like a right puff but the blue attire really brings out Liv's eyes 🤣 😍
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Lesnar v Lashley good fun too.

It was like net curtains
I would be astounded if Sami Zayn survives the tribal chief
Roman's class
Jey Uso tried to screw Sami out of the title I knew it!
This is not Owen's business

Been a great show so far just finished watching Kingston/Jay White
So I’ve got to assume White is heading to WWE now as he’s completely done with NJPW after losing this match as well, it’s been real Jay, good luck in the E
Well Mercedes showed no rust what so ever and probably just had one of the best women matches I’ve seen in along time with Kairi, toppa.

Just finished watching Elimination Chamber and absolutely loved it.

Some of the wrestling was absolutely top class. The US title chamber match was f***ing brilliant from start to finish.

Obviously the favourite match from the night though was the main event. Been looking forward to this match so much since the Rumble and it didn't disappoint for the most part. The crowd all night was absolutely unbelievable but the reactions both men got during the main event, from entrance to exit was up there (and if not better) than Punk/Cena at MITB 2011. I was expecting the full payoff to happen here from the whole storyline but there are still question marks hanging over all of the Bloodline storyline so the full payoff must be at Wrestlemania.

So as no one watches NJPW on here (as far as I’m aware) Jay White just lost a loser leaves Japan match against Hikuleo, so he’s done with NJPW after his last two matches in the states coming up, I’m gonna guess he ends up in WWE and if he does I hope they use him well, top talent.
They are horrendous for copyright on youtube, so none of the wrestling blog sites cover them, so nobody knows anything about them, so nobody watches them.

Shooting themselves in the foot...

Jay White sounds like the next big thing, though.

Unfortunately that’s just a major Japanese issue in general Nintendo are an absolute nightmare as well apparently, it’s fairly easy to keep track though.

On Jay White if they let him be Jay White and do his usual promos and allow him to wrestle his way he’ll be massive if they don’t well…

Just watched the Sami / Roman match. So its not just when he has a match with Brock that there's actually no moves in the ring, and all kick punch then.

He's really shit.

Roman has never been great in ring, I haven’t watched it and I don’t intend to but I bet it went something like this, Slow start, Superman punch x5, Spear x3 or attempting to do them numerous times, constant talking in ring like he’s some massive story teller, Ref bump, ungodly interference’s and then he wins.

He’s clearly good at being the main boss stuff but I was sick of the bloke when they tried to force him on everyone as a face, I’m the big dog is now I’m the tribal chief, this is my yard is now this is my island, everything is too similar to me to care and he hasn’t got the move set to get me excited for anything he does.

They should have split the title’s, Cody gets the Raw one and Sami should have got the Smackdown one.

Aye, that's the Roman/Brock matches in a nutshell :)

This was a bit different. Unbelievably slow start. Like 5 mins of literally nothing to start it off. Then very very little for the next 5mins. Loads of him talking through the match too, like you said, thinking he's some amazing story teller.
A bit on the outside and not a great deal more.
2 ref bumps for the crack, and a couple of run ins

But the match quality was just dreadful. Kick, punch, headlock and one sunset flip powerbomb and maybe 2 spears. I think that's the entire list of moves (with variations, i.e. superman punch, helluva kick)

I enjoyed it. Some of the spots in the US title match were incredibly dangerous like, even though the chamber is not as harsh as it was when it debuted. It’s a shame there is a no blading policy as now and again, it would enhance a match.

Sami and Roman was excellent. Crowd was super hot. At one point I was wondering - against all logic really - if they might have been minded given it to Sami on the basis RR could have a rematch and win the belts back at WM night 1 then face Cody at night 2.
