That will confuse a fair few of them now they’re used to following us
really? I hadn't realised.Last time we played them was 1-1 at Wongadome.
No. they'd probably beat usSince they are our b!tches after all.
I think this would be the attitude of most.No.
I would not like to have to play you. Obviously I want to avenge the 6 in a row. However the prospect of losing to you as a third tier team is a rather repugnant thought.
I am happy to keep our distance for now.
OP is a Mag WUM.
Let's get to the third round first. While part of me would love a home tie against our friends from up the road, another part of me says it could derail our season. For instance we'd be a bit short handed in midfield on January if - just supposing - Catts, Maguire and Power were sent off in trench warfare...
Actually, yeah, bring it on...
Is the correct answer, there sure are some deluded posters on here, we’ve just stumbled past League Two Port Vale and now people think we could beat Newcastle in the third round (assuming of course we can beat Walsall)They’d absolutely dick us.
Agree with that , our defence wouldn't be so lucky with their quality. No, but I would.
Their first team would bladder us.
Unless, they took the piss and played a 2nd XI.
Northumbria polis willAgree with that , our defence wouldn't be so lucky with their quality.
We struggled at times to contain Pope yesterday, but Rondon would be in Baldwin’s back pocket? Yeah right. Is the correct answer, there sure are some deluded posters on here, we’ve just stumbled past League Two Port Vale and now people think we could beat Newcastle in the third round (assuming of course we can beat Walsall)
Agreed. It looks like he's reduced his pie consumption lately. We struggled at times to contain Pope yesterday, but Rondon would be in Baldwin’s back pocket? Yeah right.
Yeah. That and the fact neither team has really got any decent record of consistent cup runs so the chances of meeting up are considerably reduced.Ladies and gentlemen, it will never happen. How many times have we been drawn together in the 2 cups in the last 50 years? Once? And we won that. It’s a fix, I tell yer, hot balls like they have north of the border to keep Celtic and Rangers apart.
In fact, since we have (mostly!) been in the top 2 divisions, it must be some kind of record to have been drawn so infrequently against your greatest rivals!
