Buckshee. Often used by my Dad, as in wanting to know if the last slice of cake was 'going buckshee'. I've mentioned it before and someone on here said it originated in army slang. Which would be appropriate for Dad.

As a kid we used say "mingy" for somebody being mean moneywise or not sharing sweets.It was used when something was going free, often used by my dad who is ex army. He also uses ‘gash’ for something which is spare or surplus, much to the amusement of my son.
