Im assuming the posters decrying woman’s football are young lads without kids that have nivver given a thought to possibly fathering daughters in the future and wanting them to be able to follow their dreams. If they’re old lads with daughters, grand daughters, nieces etc then the worlds in a bigger mess than I thought.
Well said

Agree mate - the more girls this gets playing footy the better.

When i was managing my lads team years ago there were about 2/3 girls playing in the whole league - for their local lads team! These days they have whole leagues for girls - fantastic 👍

This might not go down too well but why are the BBC pushing this sport down our throats on their main channel?
Unbelievable the coverage for this minority sport.
Agenda, they are trying to pretend it's big, when clearly it's not and the standard is poor. However the OP will get pelters on here from the liberal lefties.

I was a bit surprised when the commentary on the BBC said "she needs a goal to break Wayne Rooney's goal scoring record for England" 🤔

I fully support the Women's game and the promotion of it but that's hardly the same record ⚽
They're not doing the women's game any favours when they start comparing stats.

Women's football has made massive strides since the Euros were last staged in this country.

It's more than capable of being judged on it's own merits.

Half a million tickets sold suggests otherwise.

The TV audiences for the England games will probably emphasise that.

The standard of football is improving with every single tournament.

Agree with this too - just judge everything on the women's game only 👍

Trying to drag the men's game into anything just leaves them wide open for criticism
