I have one of those in transit. A mate picked up my consignment of nine bottles from Whiskybroker on Monday and he is retaining them until they can be smuggled into the house in the new year.She’s taken a real shine to the Whiskybroker Balmenach

Cracked a Thompson Bros Ben Nevis 21yo this evening. Not the best 1996 bottling I’ve had, but still very good. Bumper year for a few highland distilleries.

Got a few bottles of 105 which I’ve decantered into 50/55 % bottles with different water levels.
Used the 50% into 2/1 ratio for a Rob Roy and was the sweet spot for me….and mother in law
Night cap is last of North Star Auchroisk.
This came as a surprise. New founders club bottle delivered this morning - didn’t realise there was another still to come. The first port cask I’ll have tried from them.

Just been given a bottle of this and opened it to sample . Nice ..very nice.I asked Campbell's of Leyburn,
who have a tremendous range of whisky, to get some Filey Bay Single Malt in with it being a Yorkshire brew. Just trying it now..WOW!
