I saw Bowmore 12yr old on offer, its awful, what happened it used to be a decent dram, this has almost no nose and a very Ethanol taste, not nice at all.

edit - the 40% abv doesn't help.Bowmore have gone backwards. I've got a bottle of 12 open and I agree.
The Ledaig 10 and the PC 10 are constants in my cabinet. Both excellent drams.

TBF if you don't like it you don't like whisky - stick to gin.

Quite often the case that distilleries are the most expensive place to buy bottles.
