I have never heard of "vocal fry"

Neither had I until this thread, but I instantly recognise the annoying "put on" voice from the video. Its annoying, but then there's loads of different sounds people put on , so no particular reason to pick on this one.

I’ve noticed it. I’ve also noticed it increasing. I have, however, been unable to apply a name to it, or describe it. So I haven’t. I’m strangely relieved to find that it’s not a figment of my imagination.
