You are not forced... the rules have been there since the creation of telly. It's about being forced to pay for something.

My gripe is that I pay my fee but then I have to cough again to buy a series on DVD that I've already watched for relatives (I'm very law-abiding).They all make money from other methods, they are businesses.
I just have one gripe which is very simple, you should not be forced to pay the BBC to watch all other tv. It should be an option like all other subscription services.
...and always u (you)** Licence **
what about non drinkers? The TV licence worked out weekly is about the same price as a one f***ing pint a week
Yet people still twist and some cases avoid paying it altogether greedy fuckers.
It. Is. Not. About. The. Cost.
Would you mind if you had to pay the same amount weekly for the below as well:
Sky
Virgin
BT
EE
All only a few quid a week (which is only the price of a pint ffs!)
I mean it isn't much to pay. Great deal, even if you never watch them, aye?
May as well chuck a few quid a week in to pay some other places as well. Why not.
Thats only due to the way the BBC setup. It doesn't have to be like that.
I pay for a license, I just think it's mad that I have to pay for it regardless if I watch or not. That isn't choice, its forced tax.
They must have spent £60 sending me letters over the last three years. I get one about every week. Don't have any need for a TV licence but they continue to send threatening letters to "the homeowner".
They can get fucked the little freaks. They reckon they are paying me a visit, good luck to them, they can stand outside as long as they like.

No adverts on the bbc tv, radio or websites. A great thing.
Loads of brilliant stuff done by the bbc, funded by the licence.
Attenborough stuff, Peaky Blinders, Line of Duty, The Missing, Peter Kay's car share, fools and horses, alan partridge , the office, match of the day.
Question time, bbc radio 4 extra, BBC6music
The bbc websites are excellent.
BBC4 is a good channel and the music stuff on a friday night is outstanding.
The bbc is full of high quality content across all it's platforms, and is well worth the money.
They cater for everybody.
