Anyone not working these days simply doesn't want to work.

I really fancy a bit of fruit picking. Or selling coffee. Maybe doing some VERY sketchy repairs to your house that aren't REALLY within building regs. I'm cheap though. I can run you a fused spur off, but if it goes bang that's your problem. £20.
What do you do / want to do like. Call centres have a decent turnover, always a starting point within a company
I used to work at Rainton for six year - left as I wasn’t getting anywhere in the company. Was a great place to work and could make money doing OT but that eventually dried up.
I left to do my PGCE but bit off more than I could chew and found the workload too much for me (the bairns mam is a student nurse) and we decided that one of us would have to leave. I left as I thought she needs to make it as a nurse more than I do as a teacher.
I thought I would walk into another job with my CV and a PG certification (left before getting QTS) but I can’t even get an interview.
I’d like to think my CV is up to scratch - But what is frustrating is spending hours typing up individual job applications, writing out answers to competency questions (I’ve just saved them all on a word doc and copy/paste/amend accordingly) and you get nowhere

Disagree. Big employers are just taking the piss. Why should someone live on baked beans and Primark clothes because Dickie Branson wants to buy ANOTHER Carribbean island?Anyone not working these days simply doesn't want to work.
little tip.... copy and paste job description onto bottom of application in smallest font available and change letter colour to white, this will pass the scanning tools used by loads of companies to weed out applications.I used to work at Rainton for six year - left as I wasn’t getting anywhere in the company. Na, the big employers are investing in breakout spaces and 9 day fortnights. It said so on the SMB so must be true.Disagree. Big employers are just taking the piss. Why should someone live on baked beans and Primark clothes because Dickie Branson wants to buy ANOTHER Carribbean island?
Bit of two way lighting and two double outlets? Pffff. , I will do it in a morning for 8 cans (no paperwork ).Be cheaper just getting a proper spark in marra.

They must know you how I know youSince April I must have applied for over 100 jobs now. Some away from the region, some with agencies, I am still getting rejected for everything. Not even one interview
Must admit it’s starting to get desperate now. I refuse to return to the energy company I left a year ago but it may be the only option soon
Two questions. Where do you live? How old are you?
