    71 to 81 for me.
Every era, even today, has put out decent music but the seventies were my favourite years.

I’m loud and proud about Dion

    ...finally, someone with taste.

For me it's always been '65-'70 and '77-'87.
Some good things in between these two periods....but nowhere near as good, diverse and exciting.

Apart from Sly and the Family Stone, what was good about it?
  6. In the late 80s we used to tape record all of John peel, I think it was a Friday night. There were probably some classics on there but I always remember laughing at this.

  7. Fletch

Some great music in the 80s , watching the brits tonight makes you realise how shite it is nowadays
  8. Buzzcock

The mid 80s were fucking desolate man.

I should be shocked but you know what, I should have known.

Loved that time personally , mind you I was 16 in 1985 and I was the intended market for music of that era.

There are millions of gannies out there, I bet she rubs her massive hands together for the full month before Mothers day and the whole of December.

I'd rather have a bath with rover.

I was 13 and it was fucking rubbish.
Not being 13, that was alreet. The charts were wank.
