I wouldn't say that. Sidekick Simon is as funny as shitting yourself in public but it's decent overall.Dangerously unfunny rubbish.
KMKY and IAP are miles better mind.

This is why this is good and gervais isn't imo. All about the little details. Can see there being a meltdown over that at some point!
Watched the first one again last night and there was a few bits i'd missed first time round. Like when he is walking down the street when doing the bit about washing your hands, and some bloke in the distance shouts 'Partridge, you wanker!'
This echoes my thoughts.I wouldn't say that. Sidekick Simon is as funny as shitting yourself in public but it's decent overall.

I have watched his earlier attempts at comedy, if it is anything similar its mindless dribble.Have you actually watched them?
You have been warned.Dangerously?
Ooooohhhh I'm f***ing petrified.....You have been warned.

To me it's funny how the character is struggling to bring his witty radio banter to a tv show.Certainly not a patch on his role on Mid Morning Matters. Almost feels like he was just added to the program as an afterthought. Hopefully his character gets some stronger material as Tim Key is a genuinely funny person in real-life.
It feels like it's something to fill a couple of minutes on a 30 minute show to spin out the material.Certainly not a patch on his role on Mid Morning Matters. I haven’t watched this series, I’ve seen earlier stuff and found it very unfunny, cliched and in places, homophobic and transphobic. You haven't watched this one that the thread is about, then?
You missed anti semitic out of your critique.I haven’t watched this series, I’ve seen earlier stuff and found it very unfunny, cliched and in places, homophobic and transphobic.

he was of emmerdale farm wasnt he? That tat!Anyone reckon Jed Maxwell might make an appearance?
I didn’t pick up on that personally, but I’d be the first to admit I haven’t seen every episode. You missed anti semitic out of your critique.
You didn't pick up on the other stuff either, you just misinterpreted it rather than looking at who was actually the brunt of the joke.I didn’t pick up on that personally, but I’d be the first to admit I haven’t seen every episode.
Is the new series similar to the other times he has played the same character? Previously I believe he has played Alan Partridge on tv, and Alan Partridge on the radio, in the new series it appears he is Alan Partridge on tv again, is this similar to the previous time he played Alan Partridge on tv?You're judging it even though you haven't seen it? Ok, then.
Anything else you'd care to comment on which you haven't seen?
