Newcastle uni basement was shit last time I was there
Also Northumbria uni stage 2

The stage isnt central. Its on the left hand side. Which given the bar a straight across the back of the room its an odd layout

Think tank in Newcastle is horrid. I'm honestly fearful the floor will give way every time I'm in there and it's extortionately priced for drinks

Toilets are minging which given the times square area is canny youd think theyd make a bit of an effort

Shepherd's f***ing Bush f***ing Empire

Shepherds Bush Empire is a crackin venue. The only people I've heard complain about it are lasses who aren't tall enough to see.

Koko is ok man. There was a place in new cross called The Venue for a while years back. Shit area, shit to get to, shit sound, and the one time I went there to see Teenage Fanclub we were all sick the next day off the fuck awful beer. Think it was only Skol too.

Absolutely terrible place. Every band I saw there sounded like both the band and myself were in seperate cardboard boxes. REM, Springsteen, Oasis........complete waste of a night tbh.

Saw The Who in the cow shed in 1979. Drove down from Newcastle but had car problems all the way. Journey took about 10 hours and we got there just as the concert started. Daltrey came on stage and said "it's good to be back up north again". Bastard. And a horrible venue.
