Takeover Rumours

They want it like a matchday experience in America.

I was in Dallas for work in November and went to the Cowboys game. You have to say it’s an amazing day out - the facilities for drinking and eating before the game all belonged to the club and were outrageously good
I wouldn’t want all parts of it replicated but you can’t deny that there’s a lot to learn from how they do things - it’s a full day out before the game. Weather is the difference but you can see an indoor pre match facility being a real differentiator for us
Real life championship manager?
That’s about it, yep!

Their aim is to buy “mispriced” or distressed assets then through long term investment realises higher returns than on “regular” investments.

The only way they’d get those higher returns is through promotion eventually to the Premier League. If that happens then happy days.

That’s the MSD partners model mate with respect. The fact they are buying us privately rather than through the partnership is a massive plus - it says everything about their intentions and it’s all good

When Newcastle were linked with takeovers it was all about how nobody with great wealth would come to north east, nothing here for them etc etc.

Seems people can find a million reasons why rich tycoons would come to north east when its Sunderland ;)
Its basic math's (or math if you're a group of American billionaire investors). Also they saw us cry on Netfilcks.😉

If you're looking for a Sunderland/Newcastle comparison, us being around 8 times cheaper might be why we're an attractive proposition.

Oh, and their HMRC investigation.

reaching the PL is the goal of many but as we was, you can spend £1/4Bn and still remain cannon fodder. many team run at losses, so im struggling to see how these guys ( who seem to have a knack from getting ROI, who have no real experience of football) are gonna succeed where many others have failed. Especially which and 'unfashionable' club sited miles way from the player magnet of London.

You know what mate, I started addressing each of your points then thought 'fuck it, I just can't be arsed'.

In reality I couldn't give a shiny one what their motivation is and that's me being totally honest.

All I know is that Donald was progress from Short and Dell is progress from Donald.

If you're 'struggling to see how these guys are gonna succeed' then you've already decided what the goal is ...

... as far as I'm concerned they've all already succeeded in making us a big, financially stable, club with massive potential.

If that's not a good start then I don't know what is tbh.

And also the fact that thier fan base is made up almost entirely of hormonal, ugly, spoilt teenage girls on thier period constantly, where as our support comprises mostly of down to earth, proper gadgies .

not nitpicking or anything, like many been through hurricane of shit that is safc so many times im just mystified why us.
since the news broke i cant escape the big question of what they stand to gain...
my only goal for safc is to see us play well, winning stuff being a 'big' club and that shite is like me hoping that 99 of the worlds hottest women want to kidnap me for a life of lust... highly unlikely.
but playing well ... consistently; thats mission: possible
