Is this really going to happen? Still having trouble with it sinking in to be honest and will only believe it when it's on the front page of BBC website.

Suppose we have just wait and see but if it doesn't happen, the vermin are going to have a field day are they not?
Who gives a fuck what they say. Regardless of the level of success we have they’ll always be the same. Leave them to it.

If you're looking for a Sunderland/Newcastle comparison, us being around 8 times cheaper might be why we're an attractive proposition.

Oh, and their HMRC investigation.
Also the area around the SoL is ripe for development, whereas they can't even make the Landfill look finished 'cos they're so hemmed in.
This could be one of the most exciting projects the NorthEast has seen in decades.

They’re buying us through MSD Partners - not MSD Capital.

They're not buying us through either. Investing via MSD Partners would require them to provide a return to its investors - it's an investment fund managing money for high net worth individuals. They are investing personally, either as individuals, or perhaps more likely, a newly formed LLP with the four of them as partners.

This is off subject a bit, but imagine if Dell opens a massive manufacturing plant at the IAMP and a European HO at Vaux, to avoid Tariffs with China, as hopefully the UK will have a trade deal with China, and US and eventually the EU. Sunderland could have an above average PL team and provide 1,000's of more jobs for the NE. We can dream.:)

Nice thought - European headquarters in Sunderland, or for that matter, anywhere in Britain, but it will never happen unfortunately for straight forward business reasons ie money! BREXIT will leave us outside the Continental trading block and mean the company will face trade tariffs, in much the same way and for ONE of the main reasons it, and other companies, established operations and plants in main land China.

I think SAFC might be a bit cheaper to buy than Chelsea were. Might be wrong like, I have no idea really.
point is it wouldnt be if we won all the things chelsea have won,.it would cost hundreds of millions,...potentially..and getting that back means it wouldnt be chepaer..

Not if we have trade deals with the EU. Whilst also having trade deals with China and the USA.
