Also just noticed the net worth of Fuhrman was from 2014 so could well be much more now.

The article said.....
According to Forbes, he is worth $9.3 billion (his Impressionist and contemporary art collection alone is worth an estimated $1 billion). In 2006 he paid $137.5 million for Willem de Kooning's Woman III (1952), and in 2013 he bought Picasso's Le Rêve for $155 million.

Edit: so if he’s prepared to pay that much for a picture, let’s hope he will stick his hand in his pocket for a footballer or two.

That quote is about a fella named Steven A Cohen, either you know that and are being intentionally misleading or you’re too lazy to read articles.

Has anybody got the answer of where this $70b figure has came from?

But folk will shout at computer shops if we ain't won prem in two years.

Steady......
No we won't

There's too many fans on here preoccupied with what the mags think.. Who cares ffs?

You're opening a can of worms here.. I've already questioned this, and had half a dozen radge packets foaming at the mouth, giving me shit for having the brass balls and bare faced cheek to ask.

Nee idea, let's just call it $35b to be on the safe side

agree with this, i don't mind money being put into the club as long as it's done in the right way, i'd rather they funded a expanded scouting network, picked up players for next to nothing on a global scale and turned for a profit than just throw money at things and hope it sticks, basically like what Eisner has done at Portsmouth.
Dunno about the Portsmouth model bit but agree with the rest. And also sort out academy out so we stop losing people which largely means not just being an austerity club - being one with a hope of reaching the riches and success of the prem which is what kids want

I don’t think there is a collection of players in world football that bust a gut more for their team than Manchester City’s. Their work rate on and off the ball is incredible. That’s why they’re paid serious money. And they can also actually play a bit. I think I’d swap the likes of Maguire, Wyke and O’Nien for De Bruyne, Sterling and Aguero.
maguire keeps his place surely. He got 3 at the weekend you know

i remember a young girls pipe band marching towards the fulwell amidst chants of ''youll never take the fulwell''

imagine just being discussed in the same breath as city man
Well they prove it can be done, and the people we are linked with have been historically more successful than any awabs and I can imagine some people in very high places want to ensure that stays the same.

yup, i imagine city fans never in their wildest dreams thought theyd become more successful than united (in current terms)

Micheal Dell share price fell by 7% a few days ago due to Trump putting huge tariffs on Chinese Imports( Dell has hardware facilities over there). He lost an estimated $1.2 Billion leaving him with a paltry £30 billion net worth.
