might not be the popular opinion on here but i'm not sure i'd like my club to be some rich man's plaything. i'd hate us to become the likes of man city or chelsea who sold their soul.
i'd sooner see the likes of maguire, o nien and wyke busting a gut for us than any millionaire footballer that can't be arsed.
just my thoughts, i'm not into wind ups or owt like that.
know what you mean but clubs are going bust so nice to be financially well off.

As said before...Lots of things to spend coin on before the Ndongs of the world return.

Jack won't bring in those sort anyway. ..hes too clever for that.

To be fair, he’s not the only one. Knew we had some miserable buggers on here, but it’s frightening just how many are finding the negative in all this. Probably a few mags outed themselves these last few days.
What have I said that's negative?

Is half the board on their time of the month? Honestly man..calm down

agree with this, i don't mind money being put into the club as long as it's done in the right way, i'd rather they funded a expanded scouting network, picked up players for next to nothing on a global scale and turned for a profit than just throw money at things and hope it sticks, basically like what Eisner has done at Portsmouth.

Is that the Portsmouth stuck is an unsanitary shithole, who blew promotion last season then sold their best players?

I don’t think there is a collection of players in world football that bust a gut more for their team than Manchester City’s. Their work rate on and off the ball is incredible. That’s why they’re paid serious money. And they can also actually play a bit. I think I’d swap the likes of Maguire, Wyke and O’Nien for De Bruyne, Sterling and Aguero.

Fuck that, had a lifetime of that shit, roll on the mercenaries, premier league titles and champions league nights under the lights
i've also had a lifetime of it.there's nothing i'd like to see more than us be successful but it'd be sweeter to do it by hard work and progression over a few years of sustainability and making good decisions than just hoying money at a club to win something-anyone can do that.
don't get me wrong i'd just feel like a hypocrite having a go at other clubs for spunking millions on players if we'll be doing the same.

we sat back and suffered whilst the mags almost bought the title...our turn now, with a happier ending

How did you come to the conclusion that I interpreted that anyone was lying based on my post?

Odd
"What a load of shit". It was tongue in cheek joke that you failed to spot. I was trying to play it down as the thread seems to be becoming about you. Let's leave it there eh? and talk about what everyone really wants to discuss on this thread.

Also just noticed the net worth of Fuhrman was from 2014 so could well be much more now.

The article said.....
According to Forbes, he is worth $9.3 billion (his Impressionist and contemporary art collection alone is worth an estimated $1 billion). In 2006 he paid $137.5 million for Willem de Kooning's Woman III (1952), and in 2013 he bought Picasso's Le Rêve for $155 million.

Edit: so if he’s prepared to pay that much for a picture, let’s hope he will stick his hand in his pocket for a footballer or two.
That part if about Steven A. Cohen. :(

All because I asked an honest question.

Not for me bud. We only get so long on this planet and i want to see us compete or win things before i die . If they would like to throw money at us i would be very grateful
