Can you honestly say he’s a decent manager and right for us ?We don’t have a “team” just 11 random players cobbled together and told to get on with it .The lack of any style or pattern to our play is a massive worry and always has been since this time last year .2 points off top, game in hand. 1 behind Ipswich. Beat a prem team in the cup. Spent nothing in the summer, lost our former prem players.
SACK THE MANAGER!!!! Ridiculous. Ross has hardly lost a game in charge.

I agree partly with this re Pienaar and the dressing room etc but at that time Khazri and Kone had the lip on and were a disgrace and not deserving of a place in the side as a result. You can’t excuse their role. Other , more limited players at least tried and both players disrespected us, the club and their team mates. Kirchhoff I loved - quality player- but look at him now - unable to get game time due to poor fitness. His fitness under Sam was unsustainable.
Yeah I was at that game it was a wierd atmosphere some scally asked me and my son if we'd join there protest and walk out with them. Like I was going to pay for train fare, tickets, beer, food ect just to walk out out with 20 min to goYes. I think it was something to do with inflated ticket prices.
He was something special, shame he was racked with injuries. Never played much for us, but when he did he he wowed us!Tbf those three signings at the time totally changed us. Moyes came in and fucked Kone off immediately and bombed Khazri out preferring his mate Pienaar who was brought in to take Moyes side as the current players hated him. He also didn't have a clue how to manage injuries and fitness (remember him playing McNair for 60 mins with a snapped ACL) so Kirchoff rarely played, and when he did he was ayes out of position. It could have all been very different for Kone/Khazri if Sam had stayed.
Allardyce got the best of of the players he had and played a way that suited them.
That being said I'm not that interested in him coming back for various reasons I posted last night, and in particular his dodgy agent affiliations.

There’s only one virgin on this board and that’s the one with multiple accounts that happens to be a racist that wishes cancer on peoples mothers because he didn’t get his own way on Fifa. The attention seeking on this thread man.
As if a bunch of ugly virgins off a message board are privy to information on multi-million pound investments.![]()
And then there was the enigma that was Thomas Helmer....One of the best midfielders I've seen for us.
A bit like John Mensah who was unreal but always injured.

It's baffling. There are a % of Sunderland supporters who seem to want us to be small time. It's a phenomenon that no one can explain. You can accept poor play when you get a 2-2 draw at Anfield man.
These days your clapping like fuck when we draw at home to oxford and lose 3-0 to peterborough because 'look what we were like 14 months ago'.
Embarrassing beyond belief.
