Everyone is frustrated as this forum highlights.
The current owners deserve criticism on many fronts for things said and done to this point in their time at SAFC.
A lot of the ex SAFC pros who have every right to express their opinion (although in some cases more reasoning would help their arguments) should have been saying far more as we sleepwalked into the third tier under Moyes, Bain, Byrne, Short etc.. The silence from them and the local and national media was deafening.
Infact only now have a lot of our own fans begun to get really angry as for years many supporters viewed criticism or the prospect of protesting as a sign of disloyalty.
 

So what are the upcoming actions then? What's the "imminent" deal latest?

Taken in or not taken in, what matters now is the actions of those at the helm, they are responsible for SAFC's wellbeing.

There has been a lot of propaganda post arrival without worrying too much about first impressions. When are "they" off? My guess not at all, they will try to hang around in the shadows and recoup some brass. Does anyone believe this bullshit about arsing around with share %? The 2 rich lads would just tell them to fuck off.

The "journalists" have said too much on this without saying anything. The entire ownership debacle has largely gone unquestioned and it shows by our abject performance and league status with them at the helm.

I would be ASTONISHED if the lad spoken about as a potential investor would fk about with the current owners to broker a deal, he would just tell them to bollocks.

We are in a scruffy league with scruffy management and our standing as a team needs careful attention, we need to not repeat this period of our history, it will stick.

When you roll in shite the smell sticks.

Yep, everyone should definitely keep the context of Donald/Rodders and co trying to squeeze cash out of the EFL's £15m pot of money that needs to be distributed. It's probably bullshit.

Put it this way, it's not a surprise that this is the first time they've bandied around figures like that since they took over.

This is why owners will feed info to certain supporters. People actually start believing their drivel that they are using their own funds to prop the club up and the seed is sown.

The owners will not be using their funds to keep the club ticking over. They owed it over 11 million quid. So money pumped into the club upto that amount is the clubs money. I suspect they are way off paying that off.

They have the American load to fall back on, money received from 12,000 season tickets, and streaming revenue too.

All I want and I think many of us want is two people who have disrespected and lied to us out of our club. Methvens arrogant comments about business and the north east and his digs at the fans, if he walked the walk we might take it but he criticises us when we have been committed as always to the cause and they have done badly on almost all levels - for the overspend they cut they lost us income and opportunity and essentially made us small. Donald with his bus stop shite- denying he is a chancer when it’s patently obvious they wanted to offload the commitment to us after season ones failure which was largely down to him. We want a fresh start. I’m sure if you know them personally that have good traits and I admire your loyalty to people you know but trust in our club is rock bottom - worse even than Short. Them going would give us all a clean slate and a fresh start. It won’t be forgotten and they need to get real.

So Nixon is now the fountain of all knowledge? How certain are you that his information/comments are 100% factual?
Gordon could tell us what he thinks is actually happening and what actions he is intending to take to improve the situation if he genuinely is well informed.

If KLD and his advisers are properly switched on they will have done their homework on the current ownership of SAFC and be aware of why the bulk of our fan base are so against Donald and Methven having any further say on future policy and involvement with SAFC, and their past comments and attitude since their plan to quick flip the club for personal wealth gain hit the buffers when Charlton Athletic scored their 94th minute winner in the 2019 play off final.

Maybe trying to at least reduce Donald’s shareholding is one factor on why the deal has yet to be finalised? Methven’s 5% is inconsequential on its own but if the current owners remain the majority shareholders between them then questions will continued to be asked. Hopefully this won’t be the case, however.

And disrespected our Club - The club that our fathers and grandfathers loved and followed which has been reduced to loosing home cup ties to Mansfield Town. If the foundations that generations of us dug were not so deep SAFC would already be gone. The only thing that these idiots can't destroy and they've had a good go at it is our huge loyal fan base which would still be there even if they sold the stadium from under us.

They have absolutely no moral right to call themselves the owners of our Club and they need to be gone from it permanently.

It was his first press conference for me as well when he stuttered over saying “we’ve given Ellis £40m” that got me straight away. Then it was totally obvious when they went on that over the top mock charm offensive. Going to the Tavern, sitting in with the fans, wandering round the fanzones and concourses during games, cushying up to the fanzines etc. All things that successful genuine people would not have to do. They’d do their job to get people onside. Act professional. Sit in the boardroom. They’d be judged by actions not words. And empty words and false promises at that.

Called them out from the start along with other ex players along the way , what if he does want to play some part in piecing the club back together , at least we would know if it's for the right reasons . If these chancers had done the job properly Armst

Whats his current job got to do with his opinion on the club ?
Ball , Montgomery, Cooke , Horswill yeah what are these ex pro s doing hanging around the club lets get more conmen in there with no care or affiliation to us your talking bollocks
