Well i've just listed all options so it looks that way. The club chose not to sign a permanent striker in 2 years not the fans. All the while RS contract is running down. The summer will see us in a more difficult position with agents and clubs knowing how much we need players in. Its only going to get more expensive not less.
But why keep repeating the same thing? Everyone agrees we needed to sign more strikers. It simply doesn't need saying anymore. As I say the interesting thing is how we get goals out of what we have.
It seems we were chasing Simms all January.

Its a thread on that very subject. If you don't like it post on other threads. The reason these threads and my posts happen is due to the clubs inactively, rather than blaming me maybe look at them.
If we are to believe the press we were chasing Simms, Archer, Nemeth and probably others. In any window there will be others we don't know about. Its quite clear Speakman wanted more and he failed to get them done. I think its time to move on.

eh since speakman came in how high realistically in the pyramid should we now be? Since speakman came in two years ago how many clubs have made better progress than us as a result of buying forwards? Wigan and Ipswich certainly buy plenty.
I don't think it will got plenty goals from other areas. It's definately cost us automatic promotion though. We are the best team in those 6 positions. Gelhardt just needs a goal and get used to how we play then I think he'll be flying. He's getting in the right positions.

Since speakman came in how many strikers has be signed on a permanent basis. I've gone on record many times to praise the clubs transfer policy in many area's but the centre forward position is just baffling, and everyone, whether they admit it or now knows it.
I'm certain that given the amount of recruitment in al most all other areas of the field that we'd have identified multiple options to sign up from (if not what are we paying the recruitment team for?)
