We are the 8th longest serving club in the PL.

The other 7 are in the top 7, whilst promoted clubs since us are all above us.

Not sure if you are taking the piss, but I think 07-17 will go down as a better decade for SAFC than 97-07 or 87-97 or 77-87. Apart from a couple of seasons in the early 2000s this is the best that most of us have ever known.

What a time to be alive

We've also won less league games in 10 years than any of the 91 other league clubs
That can't be true, there will be clubs that have only been in the top 4 divisions for a season or two in the last 10 years

Not that surprising though is it? We've struggled for almost 10 years with the best to show being a top 10 finish which would have been 14th or something if we didn;t beat West Ham on final day and we've just played 38 games in those seasons. Everyone who has been promoted during that time will have had at least 1 decent season over 46 games and probably won more league games in that season than we have in 3 combined. The only team that might be competition is someone like a Hartlepool who seem to have struggled every season for years, but even they will have an extra 8 games a year than us.

Obviously those fairly recently promoted to League 2 like Newport will have had successful promotion seasons from the Conference as well.

Is that true?

Yep. And it makes sense really. Not many teams manage to consistently have a bad season and just stay up. Most teams like us will get relegated them have a good promotion season.

It isn't surprising no. Im surprised we've managed to keep the crowds considering we've not had one good season

It might be. I had a look at the table and there's not that many who might not. Assuming you're not counting Conference games as 'league' games then the only team that might push us close are Newport County who are playing their 4th season of League 2 football. Accrington have been up for 10 years now and even the likes of Grimsby, Luton, Oxford etc were only down in the conference for 4 or 5 years max so even if you exclude those years, they will still have racked up more wins than us.
