Speakmans contract

they are building up to a sale which is madness for them or 'the push'. Not sure why foot off the gas this season but just maybe they needed to tie down all kinds if deals, investors, staff.....would take a long time.

Somebody told me that sunderlands upgrade will help carry safc. Makes a change from safc trying to carry the city

Was thinking this morning how powerful It could be if the Fulwell73 lads were able to afford/take Sartori’s shares to really link it all… then in the future who knows

I’m not sure they would be able to take it all at this stage, but the % Juan has?

That's an improvement then, we have 2 or 3 players who have increased in value. They can be sold, or tempted to stay at the club by increasing wages. Should they leave we can choose to spend more money on both wages and fees. in a nutshell that's the plan as to how KLD intends to progress the club. Should this prove to be successful Speakman will be safe.
It's an improvement to a spreadsheet not a football team. I support a football club not an accountancy. The club won't progress selling its best. We need investment to progress, doesn't need to be billions but needs to be sensible which it hadn't been so far.

yes you dont need to support the accountsancy..the owner does though for two reasons..
!) The league set accounting rules for clubs to comply with and 2) The owner is having to fund the club-so the numbers have to matter to him-its his dosh-not yours
and 3) The club can, like almost evey other damn club on the planet, progress by selling its best...that how teams get promoted out of this division, sell andn reinvest..been that way always and always will be

Whilst yiur not the most credible poster here you've made this worse by stating 2 reasons then naming 3!

No club has been promoted out of this league recently without input. We want to make ourselves weaker year after year and hope that speculative signings payoff.

when you say no club has been promoted without imput..you may be right..SAFC has had imput of course.

Not sure about leicester tis season though...they will likely get promoted having sold their best player..maddison, in the summer..
Soutahmpton sold several but bought well..except for stewart..
Brentford..are an example though that might have conained lessons for ouur owners..they got beat in the play offs one season..sold ollie watkins and replaced him with a lower league striker called Ivan Toney..and went up..so you can sell your best uns if you recruit well.and then get promoted...
what you cant do if sell your best uns, recruit badly and then expect to be promoted

Relegated clubs can sell and go up as they in theory had better squads to start with. Money can be wasted so it's not a given they'd go up.

Brentford spent fortunes in wages and actually replaced big money sales with big money signings. Can't see we've done or will do either.
