All week there has been talk whether the arch should be lit up and of a minutes silence etc due to terrorist attacks.

Henderson’s employers are the biggest terror financiers of the last 30 years. They have also allegedly been gunning down Ethiopian asylum seekers on their borders.

It’s a disgrace he’s anywhere near representing our national team, never mind captaining it on a week such as this. Vile

He already knows perfectly well why it’s happening. He’s just hoping his words are taken onboard by the fans who do it and they stop.

From Southgate’s point of view, Henderson is a player who could be useful in the future and doesn’t want to lose any options if it can be avoided easily.

It’s Henderson who’s made himself unplayable now.

IMO football seems happy to toe the line and not dare question the Saudi overlauds. Reminds me of the Simpsons Halloween episode (apt for the time of the year) where if you even dare have a negative thought about him you suffer dire consequences.
 
Good lad Jordan from farra school to winning the lot in the game. If someone put that amount of money in front of you it would be difficult/silly to say no.
There will be many more who follow him over to Saudi and it will become the norm.

None will have lectured people and held themselves up as a paragon of virtue like Henderson has. The bloke is a total sellout. The Saudis think everything can be bought and Henderson stands as a symbol that they're right. Shameful. Hate the lad.

You'd expect it of a tw@t like Gerrard.

No one disputes what he's achieved.
That's not in question.

Doesn't alter the fact he's a total hypocrite after his stance on LGBTQ+ matters, then taking the headchoppers money and selling his morals

That's why he got deservedly booed. I hope the boos get louder every time he puts an England shirt on until he gets the message he's not wanted.
