Wonder if Ronaldo would get booed? The ones booing are probably the ones saying free Palestine, the country with the same views on the LGBT community as Saudi Arabia.

This. Agree or not with being booed, but it’s not hard to understand why it happened.

Absolutely disgusting the booing of Henderson . The bloke has consistently been excellent for England and a leader (ask rice ,saka ,Bellingham etc). Whether he should be deserving of a place now is open to debate but I can understand why he is selected

You can still oppose the Saudi regime and it's morals by not booing an England player

Why not save your booing for st James park when the Saudi Arabia national team play their or join amnesty international and it's marches if you feel that strongly.

We both know the Saudi and middle east investment in football is here to stay whether we like it or not . Booing a bloke from farringdon comp Wont change that

Booing Henderson isn’t about opposing the Saudi regime per se. It’s about booing a player who was vocal about LGBTQ rights, did a bit of grandstanding about it around the time we played a tournament in Qatar, who then abandoned those principles to pick up an enormous pay check in Saudi from a state run club. He’s a hypocrite, his defence of his position and decision has been laughable and he has to accept and understand why he’s let people down.

I like Southgate but his blind spot here is incredibly stupid.
 
Boos were fairly audible on the tv coverage but not sure if they came from England fans or the
Aussies he looked a bit shocked when he heard them getting subbed

The simple fact is Henderson went into semi retirement for massive sums of money. He therefore should be nowhere near the England squad let alone captaining it. How can anyone question why Henderson is being booed. He sold his soul the fans aren’t idiots.
