True but different times I suppose. I didn't foresee sell out crowds and a season ticket waiting list. Can’t see this happening unless we’re in the Prem for a good number of years, even then if we were a steady Prem team I think the enthusiasm would die off if we didn’t push on
Could argue given us a conveyor belt over last 20 / 25 years to adult season ticket holders I suppose as the Mags generally more attractive than us as an option for floating fans? The stadium is full every game. But yeah, we have enough concession seats. No chance, there is way too many concession tickets as there is.
I’m sure over last season or two we’ve upped the kids sc costs a fair bit and reduced the number of age bands. No chance, there is way too many concession tickets as there is.
More and more stadium concerts are shying away from having the stage at one end and towards having a stage in the middle of the pitch with fans all the way around. It lets them sell a lot more tickets and the artist can put on a more visual 360 degree experience. To be fair, the corporate would not be use for concerts (if they are still looking into them) a its behind the stage area. And the demand at the moment would definitely be for more South stand Season Tickets rather than more corporate (that has not fully sold out this season).

Or make a better looking catWhat we do need to do mind is remove those shitty black cats off the North Stand . Shite
Replace with our 2 previous club crests?
Aye, when I started taking the bairn in League One under 8s tickets were free where we sat.I’m sure over last season or two we’ve upped the kids sc costs a fair bit and reduced the number of age bands.
Makes sense to keep costs down to get more kids and families in for future fan base rather than empty seats in an expanded stadium.
I know that, I was just making the point that more artists are choosing to play concerts in that way, so corporate boxes in the South Stand would still be usable for a lot of concertsClub doesn’t dictate that
It’s the tour in general
Correct and as shown in my illustration below of the North Stand Plans opposite the South Stand Plans, its exactly the same construction/design, level one, level two and level three are the same heights but it extends further out to (H) with more rows seats as per the Premier Concourse. The plans definitely show a second tier, you can see the overhang:

Why? There’d be money made on it whether full or not. We've proven this several times over, I think we'd be mad to extend
That would look superb with a ton of railed seatingMy assumption is that we have plans as place holders and something bigger will come along
A massive Kop in the south stand and external fanzone. Corporate boxes right along the east stand IMO
That covers concerts and football nicely
We need to extend South Stand to one big end as you say, if we stay in Prem over next few years likeExtend the south one massive end. This should be enough for the maximum attendance around 55k would be perfect. Then the east stand for corporate. Tv cameras should be this end be better view if we can somehow block the sun out.
If we lose a few games and end up in and around the bottom three, we'll already be under capacity before the season is out imoTimes have changed mate.
Throughout the Premier league ALL grounds are at full capacity.
Only if there is a general downswing on premier league football interest would that happen but I just don’t see it happening.
How long would it take to recoup the tens of millions that it would cost for a gamble that we’d fill it. We’ve sold the ground out a handful of times since the last extension and had a whole tier closed off because it cost more to run than it made. We’d need to be successful, not just a premier league team to make it worthwhile. We were in the prem for 10 consecutive years without a waiting list last time round. Why? There’d be money made on it whether full or not.

Like the traditional one we had for decades..Not that daft f***ing daft rugby league shite one that’s on the north stand ffsOr make a better looking cat
You do realise that empty seats in the "normal" areas are not important if extra corporate spaces are full?If we lose a few games and end up in and around the bottom three, we'll already be under capacity before the season is out imo

I played with the Reading left back when he was younger . Very good player but never thought I’d see him at that leveljust had a quick gander on statcat at that match (40,579 attendance - presume segregation took the rest up). the reading midfield was packed out with ray 'oap' houghton & phil 'parky' parkinson... clark & ball would have had a field day that game!

With extra corporate money as well extra bums on seats, gigs etc. not that long, and that’s assuming we don’t get bigger and bigger. If we lose a few games and end up in and around the bottom three, we'll already be under capacity before the season is out imo
