Funnily enough I'd be quite interested in Villa's now after Saturday.

I've looked at them a little bit in the past, though I've not posted about them, primarily because they looked from the outside like as much of a basket case with an American owner as we did. As it happens, they weren't at the time, as I found that Lerner had only ever put money in by way of shares, so their debt position was pretty good. I'm tempted to have another look, probably in less detail, at whether, in particular, they're in danger of an FFP breach. It has to be a real possibility after Saturday.

The worst insult I’ve ever read on here.

Without a doubt, “silk against sack-cloth rags” would be my analogy of the difference in class and CONSIDERED ANALYSIS of “our” Grumpy against one who apparantly was once affiliated with us. Thanks for your expertise and time Grumpy Old Man - which I believe is simply not what/who you really are sir!

I was asked by a large number of people here to do it; that was the only reason I wrote it. I had to write a lot because there was a lot to write about. As for a bit sad, it was my job; writing stuff like this helps keep my hand on as much as anything else.

Excellent job and as you said - on request. Also, finance and governance is an important aspect of modern football like it or not.
Ignore the idiots.

That seems to be the overiding fear down Villa Park way.

Put up a link to a couple of threads you've started and we can all decide. I've never noticed you on here before mind.

Grumpy Old Man's posts are well received and appreciated by the vast majority on here.

Who is "we"? If you're betting against me and decide who wins then its an unfair bet surely?

Also you still haven't shown a proper way of measuring what people find interesting.

Don't be ridiculous. He does this because he's asked. And he's qualified. Two things that don't apply to dung breath.

Thanks for clearing that up. You are the first poster to mention he had been asked to do this

A report in the Mail this morning (aye I know) certainly suggested it was a risk they were facing

Cheers for the indepth review of Newcastle Uniteds accounts, very informative.

Haha. Would bet you any amount of money I went to more safc matches last season than you?

Wasn't being totally serious but still think to type up loads about their finances a bit sad.

When did finances become so important for fans anyway? It a new breed of modern fan in my opinion.
Lighten up fella they always have a go at our accounts and somebody asked GOM to take a peak … Well done GOM … Mind you lost me after the first sentence …:lol:

Just read your comment not the whole thread. I'll try to do better in future. xx
