Kim Sears is great - what a wife. That outburst - I would have been so pround v Tomas Berdych. Almost made me a murray fan.

Yeah that wasn't exactly a classic against Zverev, about half the points ended in forehand errors from the pair of them. Still, great to get over the line though.

Zverev's been serving double faults for fun for two and a half years, what does he even do in practice?!

US Open draws are out.

Konta v Watson first round so at least that's one female Brit into the second round I guess... All I'm hoping for from the women's side is Serena v Grand Slam version of Sloane Stephens in the third round. Pick a winner from that women's draw and well done to you, Osaka's got a nice draw but I guess that's reflected in her being favourite. Odds show you just how incredibly open it all is.

Muzza with a very fun first round match up against Nishioka if you like long rallies, then possibly an even better second round match against Felix with a possible third round against Dan Evans as well. Edmund v Bublik first round with winner likely to play Djokovic. Pretty great draw for Medvedev, he'll be happy with that.

Stuck a tenner on Rublev @ 75's on Betfair. Can beat just about everyone (apart from Dan Evans it seems) in that draw.

Shocking top half draw for Djokovic, will breeze through to the semis.
The other half will be a bloodbath with top players being knocked out every round with the matchups.
Would like medvedev, thiem , tsitipas or anyone bar Djokovic to win it

Is Murray in Novak's half he's 33-1 for it

Just been looking at Konta's inevitable SF defeat at the hands of Azarenka after winning the first set and noticed that she beat Vera Zvonareva in the Round of 16 - I thought she retired ages ago!

Will this mean there may be a chance of the return of the lovely Elena Dementieva and her thunderbolt second serves?:D

A wise move from Fed to miss the US Open knowing his draw couldn't be a qualifier first round and qualifier second round ;-)

You'll most likely be right though, I'd have fancied Struff to give him a game but that didn't work out last week. I actually quite fancy the chances of there being a new winner in a fortnight! I'll whisper it quietly but I quite like Dimitrov's draw...

He was 100/1 the other day

Benoit Paire arrived in New York last week later than all the other players, retired a set down in his first match last week after losing 6-0 and has now tested positive for Covid so is out of the US Open. Only he could do something like that.

Is this on Amazon

Yep, starts tomorrow at 4. Edmund the only Brit playing tomorrow I think.
