Agree with all of that.
Caroline won Wimbledon as junior player and with Clara now the current Australian Open junior champion they already have a bit in common and am hopeful the transition will be smooth. Clara is said to be even more talented than Caroline but I have only watched a couple of her matches and to me her opponents may have made her look better than she is. I don't know. She is basically still just a kid, really, and who knows what will happen in the next few years. One of the things I like the most about Caroline is her spirit of fight and unwillingness to not chase up and go after every ball. She can, or could, run the sun black. For me Clara is still missing that part in her game.
Like you say, Caroline has nothing left to prove, really, but those are some big shoes to fill and Clara will probably always be compared to her.
Naturally, it's pretty likely she will get compared, both junior champs as you say, very few other Danish players, even the blonde hair I guess. I've also only seen her a few times, bits and pieces in her Aussie Open jr run, vs Raducanu in one of the slams, and vs Swiatek in the Fed Cup, so it's hard to make comparisons, especially when she's more or less just turned 16. Seems to have a decent serve and forehand and more aggression, but still very early days.

Probably too early to assess those jr slam champs from 2017 onwards, although Anisimova is already pushing the top 50 and looks a huge talent and some of the others do look like they'll go on to very good things, but a mixed bag of those from 2013-2016. Ostapenko, Bencic, Kasatkina and Konjuh (although rocked with wrist injuries) have all had very good transitions and Potapova has had a brilliant 8 months and really making her mark, but for others, it hasn't been quite so smooth. I guess for now, at least there is someone in Danish people's minds who could go on and do well, so the interest won't suddenly completely die once Caroline does hang up her racket.
Same. Huuuuge BB fan. More than a few years ago I thought she'd be a multiple Grand Slam winner by now. Great to see her back at this level.
Me too. Won Canada and Eastbourne and crashed the top 10 2015/16, but has had so many injuries since. Thought she was on her way back this time last year after beating Venus at the AO, but then lost to Kumkhum and then injured again at IW. I really hope she wins (don't expect it though), but either way, she is in the slam seeding positions now and only has a couple of wins here and there to defend until Wimbledon so a chance to really kick on again.
