Almagro, Tipsarevic and Bahgdatis as well.Berdych, Ferrer, Wozniacki, Cibulkova, Radwanska, Safarova, Schiavone and Vinci all gone in the last 18 months or so. Two Grand Slam winners and the rest are all finalists this decade.
Like above, I feel old.
I know I'm a broken record but this ATP Cup is another reason the new Davis Cup is just bad. This tournament is better if anything, gives players like Dimitrov the chance to actually compete at the highest international level.
But anyway, the proper season starts this week! Shame about Murray pulling out of the Australian Open but better to be safe than sorry I guess.
Only nine days away from qualies for the first Slam of the season.

Andrescu out of the aussie openI think there's still a lot of flaws with this ATP Cup, but it is good to see tennis return, even if it is a relatively short off season compared to most other sports. 3 WTA events this week as well - Brisbane premier, and internationals in Auckland and Shenzhen, and because it's so close to a slam, pretty much all the big names are involved.
Can't wait for the AO to start. Not really in a position to take holiday this time, so not sure how best to watch, but still looking forward to it all the same.
Andrescu out of the aussie open
Gauff - venus should be interesting erm not really got halep on one but i will have more funds for the first weeks play anyway as im out on the drink Saturday so putting less on the football have you got much on.I've looked forward to this for months, but it does feel strange with all that's going on over there. There was a lot of rain last night which delayed a lot of the qualifying, but that'll be good for the air in the short term. Both British men out of Qs at the first hurdle, Harriet Dart through, Naiktha Bains out, and Sam Murray was one who had her match delayed due to the weather, so she might possible have to play 2 matches in one day to catch up, unless they have matches on Saturday instead.
The draw is out at 7am UK time. I don't think Eurosport are showing it, but it'll likely be on a Facebook page or something. It looks like Eurosport are dramatically cutting their production costs, and the vast majority of presenters / pundits will be in the UK not on site in Melbourne.

Top half has Barty, Serena and Osaka, so possibly more value in backing someone in the bottom half to win each way.
Gauf vs Venus II, and Sharapova vs Vekic are probably the 2 stand out women's matches IMO.

Federer ended up in Novak's half, so that's a potential semi final. Possibly Nadal vs Kyrgios again in R4.
Have you got any combined bets on @chopsfc007 mate?

Definitely putting accumalators on maybe combine it with the darts masters thats on soonNowt on yet pal, but will go through the draws in more detail tomorrow night and go from there.

Must be one of the most bland first round draws in ages! Other than the two you listed there's nothing particularly that stands out.
Medvedev v Tiafoe and Djokovic v Struff probably the main ones on the men's side

The 3 Brit's where there's probably more hopes, all play on Monday, with Watson, Dart (who came through quals), and Boulter all playing their R1 match on Tuesday. I'm looking to get up around 5am every day, so will likely be able to able to watch the 3rd matches on each court when I get up (assuming I don't hit snooze).
Yep, I was looking at the Tiafoe match as the possible pick on the men's side, but thought it was a stretch including it as a stand out. On the women's side there's the likes of Muguruza, Wozniacki, Garcia and Goerges who are usually seeded, but aren't this time, but they've all drawn lower ranked players in matches they should win. They'll likely meet a seed in R2 if they get through, instead of R3 like usual, so that might make R2 a bit more interesting.
I mean there are plenty of matches featuring some of my more preferred players, which I'll look forward to, but certainly not must see for the neutral. I'm just hoping Venus doesn't pull out late with her not having played yet in 2019.
