Yep. Going very well. The Vekic match will be 50:50. Quarter likely to be difficult.

I was honestly expecting this one to be much closer. Bookies had Kuzmova at just 6/5 and she's beaten some very good players this year. I guess with that sort of big game, she is going to blow hot and cold as sometimes she won't miss and the next moment she'll look limited. I guess I'm still not completely convinced Jo is getting back to where she was after a modest 2 years, although this last month (or 6 weeks including Fed Cup) has been very encouraging and almost out of nowhere.

This 3rd quarter does look difficult as you say, and stronger than the 4th quarter.

Hats off to her, great performance. Less than an hour on court.

This I the first day I've properly been able to sit down and watch the tennis. Zverev in a spot of bother here.

Wawrinka v Tsitsipas, Nishikori v Paire & Sloane v Muguruza all in one day? Yes please.

Stan looked incredible the other day against Garin, it's a big if but if he plays like that for the next seven days and there's no reason he can't win this again.

Looking like 3rd time unlucky here for Osaka. 3rd time she's been a set and a break down (,this time double break).

Konta-Vekic for me as well. They've had a lot of good matches over the past 2 years and if it's half as good as their Wimbledon 17 match, I'll be happy. First meeting on clay.

Konta and Vekic playing this well on clay bodes very well for their grass court season. If Vekic gets a good draw at Wimbledon then there's been bigger surprise winners.

They'll probably meet for the 3rd successive year at the latter stages of Nottingham. Konta will be a bonafide seed now and the winner will be pushing that 9-16 seed range which will come in handy. I was actually randomly thinking last night that Donna could have a good chance at Wimbledon.

Naomi's 16 match slam winning run ending abruptly - she'll have a lot to think about before Wimbledon as her game and attitude were both well off today. Possibility of a Siniakova-Blinkova last 16 here - not many would have thought that.

Siniakova vs Keys then...

Blinkova had 4-4 40-15 in the final set, double break point to serve for the match, ended up winning 1 of the next 9 points.

Osaka maybe carrying an injury still

Thiem v Monfils
Wawrinka v tsitsipas
del potro v khachanov
Zverev v fognini
Nishikori v paire
Federer v Mayer
Nadal v londero
Djokovic v struff

Top 5 matches are cracking match ups, could be some massive quarter final matches with Nadal potentially having the easiest opponent in nishikori (who is getting back to his best)

It's the best last 16 men's line up that I can remember for quite some time. Really looking forward to Stan vs Tsitsi in particular, but all 5 matches you highlighted have a big match feel about them. Really looking forward to a full day's tennis tomorrow.

That was seriously impressive from Vondarousva. She looks good enough to win it.

I don't pay to much attention to the women's rankings to be honest but I was surprised to see Mugurza ranked so low and Andreescu ranked so high.

Pretty much half of Bianca's points (like 49%) came from winning Indian Wells, big shame she has been out since Miami and clearly still not right - might be best for her to skip the grass and concentrate on getting fully fit for the US hard court season. Muguruza's ranking would have looked even worse if they had say an 11 month ranking system rather than 12 because she reached the SF here last year, which just shows how modest it's been from June until this week, and she's not been injured either - she basically needs to reach the SF just to stand still.

Konta on now.

I forgot she won Indian Wells. Seems like whoever can serve best will win the Konta match. Breaks galore so far.

Always remember the 2015 final against Djokovic, dont think I have ever seen Djokovic as outplayed in a slam final as he was that day.

Wawrinka for me deserves more credit than he gets, won 3 of the 4 slams and on his day he is literally unbeatable. He should have won a lot more than he has.

So, first women's QF has been determined - Martic vs Vondrousova, a repeat of a WTA clay final in Istanbul 6 weeks ago that Martic won in 3.

Oh, and the grass season officially starts tomorrow with Surbiton Challenger / W100 qualifying.
