Never!70+ - I daren't give my exact age cos @peachbum will take the piss.
7 - hard to remember. Liked school pretty much, wasn't top of the class but nowhere near the bottom either. Had joined brownies and was a fairy until I swapped to the elves.
14 - the good: loved school, loved sport, did a paper-round every day before school, then cycle 3 miles to the swimming baths (as they were called then) to go diving before school twice a week. Would stay after school for judo, athetics, netball, hockey whatever. Not often top of the class academically but was the best 800m runner in the school at around that age. Was just on the cusp of discovering boys and alcohol. the bad: didn't really like life at home and just wanted to leave (mostly teenage rebelliousness?)
21 - Had had various jobs (not really career type), had met my husband to be and wanted to go travelling, he had already done a year travelling across the USA.
28 - After spending two plus years living, working and travelling abroad, had come back to the UK and had a nine month old son. Gave up working and was a stay at home (going out with my child) mum.
35 - had my third child (a daughter) just before my 35th birthday (having had a second son since I was 28). Still a stay-at-home/going out with kids mum. Got married (see age 21 above)
42 - was running my own business so I could be at home with my children. Busy times with three children, work and studying (NVQ3)
49 - the children had pretty much grown up so I had decided to become an employee again.
56 - had just come back from a five month backpacking trip round South America and had to get a new job. Never knew how hard it would be after always just walking into jobs previously. Hello age-discrimination (?). Luckily someone who knew my work wanted me to work for her so a new job beckoned.
63 - still to come hopefully, and maybe one or two big trips (backpacking), but maybe family things to sort instead - who knows?
Never!
Everyone was only top of the class at junior school though, funny that.
I thought you were half the age7 - hard to remember. Liked school pretty much, wasn't top of the class but nowhere near the bottom either. Had joined brownies and was a fairy until I swapped to the elves.

A very good thread - thanks to @RestlessNatives for
14 - a swot at shool but never fitted into either the nerd or sporty/popular groups as I was somewhere in between. I was ok at football and played in the team that won a County cup tournament (Staffordshire). Started an interest in computing (zx speccy+)..
