Without a doubt. Probably shot his confidence to pieces as well.

Yeah

Not sure he would have made it but at 6 he could have been quality

We will never know

David Warner has an awful record in England, it just doesn’t work here, the ball does too much

It was never going to work him opening with the Aussie new ball attack seaming and swinging it all over.

Shame cos like you say he might of made it batting lower down but doubt we will find out now.

This is how to bat during a test match. Probably why Athers never won a test against the Windies iirc

Shame about Roy, but we had plenty of mid order batsmen and were desperate for openers. He could still come back and try lower down the order, he is only 29.
 
Happy with that day me Sibley great opening to last and also was a good old fashioned test opening today for me, lots of swing and I feel we have the better bowlers for these conditions, build on this score for tomorrow
