It would be interesting to see the calculation of the tipping point. With a fanbase spread across the UK and beyond, I wonder what matchday support a 30K ST base would be expected to indicate. I would have thought 30K ST indicates a typical home attendance in that area (35K), but for bigger games surely it will be needed. I can see why ST's may not be sold in the Concourse, but I'd hope that it was needed for the first couple of games and then become ongoing if we are doing OK.

I think the tipping point would be when there were limited pairs available.
There is still good availability in the North Stand, and certain blocks in the East.
If the lower bowl was 95% sold (33500 sold 1700 left) and they were mostly singles or BCB , then I think the Concourse would get opened a block at a time.

Just like Sheff Wed in the play offs.

the ticket office have came back to me and apologised for not calling. said im free to pick my own seats which is now a bit pointless as there are not 3 together in that side of ground and they will reduce the price to the early bird rates which although nice would rather have paid the extra for the seats we had selected for the reasons given
I'd be asking for a category upgrade, ie getting same-cost option of areas where there are no concession discounts (guessing that some of your tickets are concessions).

Are the club going to put this out there?
They’ve had the 22,000 sold figure on the website for weeks now.
You would think someone would be on the ball and respond to this landmark and get it out there.
It’s all good PR.

Tickets are like gold dust at Liverpool mind, they have some sort of membership scheme you pay for weekly/monthly and then get selected by raffle. Something along those lines anyway.

I can’t remember if it was Liverpool or Utd, but one of them had to do a check on season card holders as they noted they had a lot of 90+ year old attendees 😂

Basically, because getting season tickets is so hard; families were keeping them even when people had died. I might be wrong, but I’m sure what triggered the check was they noted they had a 110 year old season card holder 😂

Did they take the cards off the families? sad if they did

Throughout this thread numbers keep going up and down. Time to wrap it up.
It's been explained why before, people putting them in their basket and not buying them and the club releasing previously unavailable seats will mean the numbers fluctuate, but the history of both this thread when the club announce updates and the results from when we did it in home games last year shows that the figures are usually pretty close to being accurate.

You won't get an exact figure so if that's what you're after it's probably best not to continue reading the thread.
