A reasonable budget?

What was last seasons budget?

I wouldn't trust him or our "recruitment team" with a f***ing penny and hopefully these new owners feel the same.

I get your point, although I’m not convinced that Grigg was his signing. I think the difference would be that players may wish to come to Sunderland now whereas last season players weren’t convinced.

By the way I totally get why people dislike Ross as the football has been really awful for a long time, but for me it’s whether we can bring in someone else mid season and still get promoted?

Right, the situation. The new company is owned 100% by the American LLP. As that's registered in Delaware, which has very limited disclosure requirements, it's guesswork as to who the partners are. My guess is all four. Dell isn't a director of the newco, because he's intended to be a passive investor. Going forward, I'd guess that the newco will own a majority stake in Sunderland, with the minority interest staying with Madrox.

Had a look on Delaware's version of CH myself and there's bugger all info there.

Dell is reet in the mix, make no mistake about that.

Already hearing ffp and you won't be able to attract anyone to Sunderland from mags who were all over their fakeover a couple of months ago. Yawn bring it on

Maybe in the long run this could help you lot get rid of Ashley, if we achieve takeoff I reckon the pressure will be too much and he will end up having to sell.
If I'm honest I would love the whole area to get that buzz of the late 90's back, needs a good Newcastle team as well as SAFC.
Mike doesn't do pressure.

You certainly know your stuff mate, but I thought that Delaware disclosure thing was a bit of a myth. I've read or seen something recently about it and cant figure out what it was but it said that it wasn't true
There are some, but fewer than other states, and way less than required here.
