It was good conditions but there’s too many tight twists and turns on the route for me. I’m not built for turning corners

It's got a bit of everything, beach, grass, gravel, paving & concrete & back on to beach again. Goody bag at the end is usually pretty good as well.

running on shingle is a great training aid to build stamina much like hill climbing

Can be but both stretches of beach combined aren't much more than a mile.

Sells out every year but takes a few months I think. One of the Strollers would probably know better.

one of the biggest events in the region - well over 1000 people take place.
