On the train back from Cheltenham and reflection tine. Is this the worst run in our history? I think so given the level we’re at.
Im not an KJ Dan and think he had to go but he would have got us at least 7pts in those games imo. The management have dropped a massive bollock here, no preparation.

They had a chance to lift us this morning with an announcement re: Keane coming in & then having two days with the players before Wimbledon.

They've failed - again.

This is an utter PR disaster from the club - a 1st class clusterfuck. Speakman is fast losing friends here..........
We said the same before Doncaster, after Doncaster, before Cheltenham and now after Cheltenham. They are clueless

Still not convinced by this longing for Keane, hes been out of the game that long so who are his backroom people going to be, how long will it take him to get back into the swing of things?

Bit of a myth that, he was Ireland's assistant manager til 2018, at Forest til 2019.

The case for Keane imo is that he'd give the place an immediate lift. But, as we've seen with Defoe, what lifts the fans apparently has the opposite effect on this set of players.

We have to appoint Keane now (if he's interested) as anyone else will be on a hiding to nothing with a fanbase at a low ebb. I'd starting to think what he offers is not what we need. Weak-minded players shrink under Keane, and we've got a squad bursting with them.

I can't see how the ownership could hold an ounce of credibility with our fanbase if it wasn't Keane now.

It will be the cherry on the cake for the humiliation we've endured if we don't give it to him now/he turns us down.

As mentioned, if he isn't our next manager I'm done with the club for the foreseeable. Probably going to go watch the odd Shields game (to be honest I bet they are ran ten times more professionally than us) and the f1 which starts soon again, **** this embarrassment of a club.
