To the folk who say : He's not managed in 15 years" or whatever..
He hadn't managed at all before his first stint here and look at what he did in his first season.

An older, wiser, but just as passionate Roy Keane would be a massive lift to the club.

Make it happen KLD

I’d enjoy signing it

I think for 17 games it’d be worth a punt. I can completely understand why people wouldn’t be in favour.

If he was appointed I think we could very easily pick up some serious momentum through sheer force of personality and will. I think we’ll qualify for the play offs whoever is in put charge. I couldn’t see a capitulation to the extent we’d not at least finish top six. So, for me, it’s worth a short term gamble.

We have a young team, learning their trade, they've been hammered a few times this season and we are low on mental strength.

I honestly cant think of anyone worse in the whole universe to take over thiese players.

Would Keane drop to league 1 realistically? I know he said he wanted to get back in management and considers dropping to championship but no mention of league 1.

Until the end of the season would be a good shout -re assess then ?

I think he did say he’d drop to league one. He mentioned in the Neville interview he was aware he might have to go down the divisions.

I genuinely don’t think there’s a chance it’ll happen because of things at the Sunderland end rather than Roy Keane end. Completely getting myself carried away for absolutely no reason!

Remember what he said when he came here?
How there was nothing to show the rich history and success of the club around?

I think KLD would actually find that kind of insight invaluable tbh.

He's an outsider. Bit like allardyce. They have that inner confidence and determination despite the criticism they get. Keane is just an out and out winner. Perfect for a big club like us to get momentum again and push on.
