Roy Keane

Keane would not accept a contract till the end of the season surely. Warnock would.

I don’t think it’ll happen. That’s just my gut feeling.

But if Roy Keane wants back into management as he says he does and he’s given an opportunity at Sunderland I think he’d take a short term contract to prove himself. He’d have 17 games to do something sensational and get us up automatically or potentially 20 to achieve the same result. The job would be his if we went up and if we didn’t he could either enter discussions to stay or go back to punditry.

I’m beginning to convince myself it’s our best option

I’m torn.

He was fantastic for us but dogshit at Ipswich. Hasn’t been in the game for years either.

But there’s no doubt he’d instil some blood and thunder into the dressing room which might be more important at this stage of the season than some pretend tiki taka bollocks.

Because Ipswich wear blue. He’s explained this man

Imo he's the right character for managing us. Strong character and loves a challenge. Team spirit he built here was unlike anything ive seen. Do that now and the quality we have would demolish this league
Remember what he said when he came here?
How there was nothing to show the rich history and success of the club around?

I think KLD would actually find that kind of insight invaluable tbh.

He would but for what he’d cost us, would it not just better to get BSA? He’d do the same but has a much better track record

FWIW, I doubt it will be offered to either 😂

Yeah I doubt it’ll be either of them but a combination of BSA and Defoe would cause a noise comparable to when Defoe scored against Chelsea come Saturday
