I won't name names, but I feel that squad is too nice, keano will want them shouting at each , not just saying unlucky after a mistake, I just don't feel like the majority of this squad is like that . You only have to look at their body language on the pitch.

Fair enough, I disagree. If you feel the majority have weak mentalities we’re on a hiding to nothing. What I’ve seen is a lack of effective direction and generation of confidence by regular changes and tinkering. Additionally an inability by the manager to assess and make considered decisions when things are going wrong aside from panic at the beginning of the season when he dropped in multiple substitutes.

It’s been clear that when things have been going well in a game our team is fine. When we’re under the cosh and plan A isn’t working the players can see and feel it and look to instruction from the manager and none has been forthcoming.

No matter, I’m not 100% sure about Keane but he certainly looks the best bet amongst the current candidates. Some players will love him, some won’t, that’s football.

Keane loves no one but himself, why are people so blinkered, except getting us promoted and would have took us down, what had he done, I remember reading how awful he was with Ipswich players, sadly players today are snowflakes and don't like being shouted at , bless it's managers like Klopp and pep who visibly put an arm around players and encourage, the strong , and man's football of the great bygone era has gone, keane is not a manager for today's players, time will tell and I will gladly put to shame if I'm wrong.
He was very well respected by the players last time. He doesn’t suffer fools mind

How was the second season unsuccessful?
Look at the beatings we took and the off field discipline problems. We stayed up with two games to go and I was happy with that but not what I would call successful. People think his hard man approach will sort out our weak mentality. I didn't then and it won't now.

He kept us up with two games to go. Yes I was happy with that though we got some maulings. We looked worse the following season. I quoted our first season as being successful but no-one has mentioned any successful managerial role since
He only had one managerial job after that
