Everything has been agreed verbally, Roy Keane will be the next Sunderland manager, it’s just about finalising the verbal agreement.
Welcome back Keano
Failure then, as opposed to play off place in the third division. He won 15 out of 53 losing 29 in the premier league. I like him but he was hardly a success.
I think it just down to the formal stuff and getting what has been agreed down on paper, I think tomorrow or Saturday, can’t see him taking the Doncaster game but could be wrongGet in, when's it likely to be officially announced?
Someone get Kermet readyWheatsheaf and Magnus saying on Not606 that news should be trickling out tonight and it officially announced tomorrow.
There are 2 sides to every story. Roy spoke to Neville about it in depth and said there were 7 or so bad pros in villa doing things the wrong way (not ability wise). You must be logged on to see external links
Defoe would probably have second thoughts.
He’d likely be in the stands if it’s as advanced as this you’d think?I think it just down to the formal stuff and getting what has been agreed down on paper, I think tomorrow or Saturday, can’t see him taking the Doncaster game but could be wrong

Aye, Since Monday.Anyone index finger hurting due to refreshing this page and newsnow Sunderland. I think I need a steroid injection.
I won't name names, but I feel that squad is too nice, keano will want them shouting at each , not just saying unlucky after a mistake, I just don't feel like the majority of this squad is like that . You only have to look at their body language on the pitch.Who specifically do you feel is within that category ?
How was the second season unsuccessful?I can't understand why people think having a 'hard man' in charge will automatically bring success. I'd rather have an astute manager in charge. No, I can't name one but Keane in charge worries me. Tell me where he has been successful then tell me his last managerial role. His first year at Sunderland is my memory followed by an unsuccessful season and four months.
This lad has plenty of form as ITK.ITK or a guess?
Did you get any messages before Defoe was announced?Just had a couple of WhatsApp messages more or less saying what @Upthere has.
It’s obvious the club have made him their number one target and I think it’s perfect for him as well: only worry was whether valuations were wildly off or the structure was too rigid.I think it just down to the formal stuff and getting what has been agreed down on paper, I think tomorrow or Saturday, can’t see him taking the Doncaster game but could be wrong
