I've been trying to but can't seem to get out of the red. Trying to rob trains all the time doesn't help

Got to the last few missions and thought the shooting dynamics had changed to make the game harder. Couldn’t lock on. Couldn’t change weapons and it was driving me insane.
Realised my L2 button has jammed and my controller is totally broke. Watched a YouTube video on how to fix it and made it 100x worse where I now can’t use the L2 button at all!!
Managed to complete chapter 6 by being lucky and legging it away from bullets.
If anyone has a spare controller let me know

I finished chapters 1-6 lastnight......what a game!!

Finished the main story but the epilogue just cements how massive this game really is. Finding villages and towns all over that are full of people and things to do and it is. Game I have technically now completed. 83% and a million things to do.

The epilogue part is my favourite as you just have the chance to roam and open up brand new areas and quirky towns.

I’ve just started the epilogue but I’ve stuck to the area around Strawberry. Am I best off going for a wander in your opinion?

The only bit that opens up for the epilogue is Austin i.e. Blackwater, everywhere else is available to roam from the second chapter.
Personally I found the epilogue a slog and just wanted to finish it but it just kept going and going. Now that it's done it's great just wandering everywhere looking for dinosaur bones, cigarette cards etc. and discovering weird shit without the story interrupting it. Feel more free to do whatever I want.
