I don't necessarily disagree with that. I just never understand the hate for him. I'd take the way he's ran them over the way Short has gone right now.

Last summer Rafa the Gafa spent £24M on 6 players that are struggling to make their matchday squad or had to loan out this year and are still paying a portion of their wage.

M.Sels - £4.5M
J.Gamez - £1.5M
G.Hanley - £5.5M
D.Yedlin - £5M
A.Lazaar - £3M
M.Diame - £4.5M


Every manager will make shit signings every window but he is a master of it.

The expectation of the average football fan is instant success. It's ludicrous. Unless you have millions and millions to throw at a team statistically it is not going to happen, even with the money.He ran Everton very well for years. He could have done the same for you. Instead he'll probably go and sit on a sunny beach for the rest of his life on the payoff. I don't have any sympathy for him. He knows what a fickle lot his customer base is. It must be immensely frustrating to work in an industry that requires time, luck and money to succeed. He had none of them
