Queen

Ah it must be true.. Its on the internet, as is alien abduction, 911 conspiraces and other assorted bollocks.

As a self confessed Queen nut since the age of 14, (1974) including being a one time fan club member, I'd say I have a pretty decent knowledge of all things Queen.

I have read/seen 100s, possibly 1000s of articles on Queen... I have NEVER seen anything regarding Freddie and underage rent boys.

Maybe, being the huge fan that you are, you have chosen just to ignore them.

That article states he ignored his HIV but Mercury was never diagnosed with it. Tests he took at the time could only confirm at the time that you definitely didn’t have it or that you might have it. That might have even been on that documentary.

He was diagnosed with Aids in 87 but that was after a biopsy

Why would it be nonsense? Sure that’s what people said about the likes of savile when the stories were first coming out

There's nothing to Google. He was a great man.

Still no idea why people think he was the 'ultimate frontman', mind. Was it because he wore a cape?
It's because he was the best front man ever and had an amazing voice.

It's interesting that the accusations against Mercury seem to come from those who don't like Queen while their fans won't have a word of it. Personally, I think they were a dreadful band but I doubt there is anything in the rumours.

That's not uncommon. If you look at some Michael Jackson videos you will see his fans describing him as "handsome" a couple of years before his death and that it was perfectly ok for him to sleep in the same bedroom or bed with kids.
I do think he was a great frontman mind he had the crowd spellbound at Live Aid.
