I’ve gone through life believing everyone just leaves their toaster out on the kitchen work surfaces at all times.

Over the last few days I’ve found out that two people put theirs away when they’re finished using it.

Are these people just freaks or does anyone else do this?

Our lass packs the cupboards like Tetris. If she put the toaster away it'd be quicker to make toast on the radiators than get the fucker out.

I put my toaster in the microwave then the microwave in the fridge. Keeps everything tidy dinnit.
Also the washer can be used as storage space when not in use.

I'm currently using my washing machine as my laundry bag (as I don't have a laundry bag). Once it's full, it'll get switched on.

Depends how often you use it. I've considered hoying mine in a cupboard because it barely gets used. Haven't bothered as of yet like.

I mix all. The only time I separate is if I want to do a 60 degree wash and that'll generally just be towels and underwear.

Living alone mine was always out on the bench, when our lass moved in, she purchased a tray and it sits on that in a cupboard and is brought out when needed.

The tray doesn’t half stop all the crumbs mind! Possibly one of the most useful things the wife has introduced to my life.
