Bought the Ring Video Doorbell Plus, been after one for a while.

However, it's likely going to need to be mounted on PVC. Is there a mount for this that won't need screwing in to the plastic?
I thought I would have the same problem when I got one, but mine came with an angle mount so I fix it to the wall beside the door, so when set up you still get decent coverage area. I’m not sure if they cone with the angle mount now.

I bought the Ring Wireless Doorbell and the Ring Wired Security Floodlight a year ago, one of the best I have bought in a while. I\ve never had any complaints about it so far, been quite useful whenever we have been away from a couple of nights, given us a bit of peace of mind knowing we can keep an eye on things.
Thanks @Albay3037 think I'll give the doorbell and outdoor cams a go. I quite fancy the battery ones with solar panel option and they seem to be a canny price in this sale
Edit:my bad spelling

Bit of advice please - are the Ring video doorbells and cameras any good? They seem to be a decent price compared to the Google Nest offerings...tia
I've had a Ring video doorbell for a while. It paid for itself when it alerted me to someone in the drive at 1.30am. By the time I got into the porch he'd already tried my door, found it was locked and broken into my car. He was still sitting in it raking through the glove box etc. The footage from the doorbell secured his conviction and he's locked up now. I live alone (with the dogs) and it gives me a bit of confidence and security that no one will get near the house without me knowing. I'd say it's well worth having one.

Could somebody please direct me to what kind of whiskey is decent but not expensive (under £30) as I want to get my dad a bottle for his 80th.
Don't know my single malts from my blended or my Johnny walker from my Murray Walker......

Well I got him a bottle of "peaky dad" whiskey 2 father's days ago and he loved that. Know he's got Glenfiddich bottles in the sitting room anarl xx
There’s a 15 year old Glenfiddich on offer though it’s still pricey. I’ve bought Talisker for my dad before and he enjoyed it, that’s a single malt also reduced in price (and much cheaper).

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Dalwhinnie-Whisky-Year-Old-70cl/dp/B00CEZ2HDC - a good one if he takes his with ice
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Singleton-Dufftown-Single-Scotch-Whisky/dp/B00439VS3M - nice and smooth, fairly similar to Glenfiddich in that it's not peated but it does have more of a burnt sugar hint.

Talisker is lovely, bit more a peaty flavour, but you can definetly get a hint of the salt coming through (the distillery is on Skye). Talisker Storm is a cracking drop for the price
