Same here, the late flurry means the money set aside to deal with potential claims went up another £450m and the PPI claims team are in work for another year at least

That’s good.

On the other hand I know someone who recently sold a Lamborghini Urus to a PPI guy, made millions from it himself.

Banks didn’t want to deal with him so he paid cash.

Not a penny..always quite astute on taking out policies etc but thought there must be something out there.

8 or so cases closed and just 2 still pending

Same here. I sent a load of letters on the off chance but nothing.

Sometimes I wonder what happened to all the people working on PPI. Or is there some new thing they've all switched onto.

I keep getting calls to review my life insurance now. They claim they can lower the premiums even though my mortgage broker said I'd never get it cheaper as I took it out years ago when my medical history was excellent.

They're generally upheld if you had no need for the insurance (had it elsewhere etc),

What if you work in the public sector and get decent sick pay and redundancy if kaid off? Would that mean you wouldn't need ppi?
