Points needed to stay up


West Ham will get around 38pts i reckon. How many more will Crystal Palace get between now and the end of the season? They won’t be far away from trouble.
 
Not sure I fully subscribe to this West Ham revival yet like. Spurs absolutely shite at home as are we away from home so they had two good fixtures on paper, but they had a run of 4 games before their cup game everyone thought they'd put a run together and didn't.

If we win on Monday then we're as good as safe, probably are now bar the most ridiculous bad run but rather not tempt out :lol:

We’re 16th over the last 5 games. Teams below us are: Burnley, Palace and Spurs all currently below us overall and Liverpool who are above us overall.

We’re 14th over the last 10 games. Teams below us are Spurs, West Ham, Brighton, Palace, Wolves and Burnley who are all below us overall.

We’re 12th over the last 15 games. Teams below us are Brighton, Leeds, West Ham, Bournemouth, Palace, Spurs, Burnley and Wolves who are all below us overall.

A few short term results isn’t enough for the teams below us to catch up over 15 games. Assuming that the short term runs of all teams will continue for the rest of the season is a crazy thing to do.
 
Forest winning must have been hard to take for West Ham, especially it being away at in form Brentford. West Ham remain 5 points adrift but with a game less to play. I doubt they can get to 40, 20 from 15 is a huge ask. I’d think 38 would be enough, I think we’ll end up with around 44 points and finish 14th.

Would need 7 wins
A Sunderland win last Saturday would of made a huge difference
