Platini will be set up to take the fall while the real culprits continue as normal. They're rotten to the core and as long as they have expendable, high profile staff on their books nothing will change. Corrupt bosses with rivers of money and other people to hide behind. What could possibly go wrong?
 


Greed is a pandemic these days and power comes with it. It's one of the most disgusting sides to human nature and it to make it worse, around 2000 innocent under paid workers have died making these stadiums to prop the likes of Platini's cocktail bars within one of their many homes dotted around the planet. It's time to cull this ugly side of human nature and put a bit care back in.

Depends exactly who they stole the money from and how keen they are to go after them.

For some nations these guys are the perfect target, big names from overseas who they can put on a stick.
 
Just saw a post on Facebook (oddschanger IIRC) saying that in light of this, England has been backed in at evens to host 2022 World Cup :eek:

We're one of a very few countries that could hold it at such short notice. Problem is, the last World Cup was held in Europe so FIFA would probably prefer to give it to a non-European nation that isn't either European or North American as they are holding the next tournament.

Far East or Australia I reckon if it gets moved. Australia would be brilliant

Won’t be moved even if a completely new bunch of justice-seeking cleanskins take over FIFA.

Qatar would bankrupt FIFA with legal action.

The only way is if Qatar willingly gave it up. Will never happen.

Best anybody can hope for is a new, fairer regime for the future.

We don’t have the facilities to host a World Cup at the minute. Was listening to a discussion about it last week. It’s to do with media centres at grounds and space for the media trucks etc. Would be huge work involved and not enough time.
