Whatever he was doing, slagging the skipper off or whatever, it sits uncomfortably with me, and many others i'd guess.

:lol::lol:

nobody even knows what went on, luckily there was already agenda against him so everyone was happy to believe whatever cryptic shite the daily fail printed to get rid of him.

if it had been a popular player it would have been ignored imo.

look at trott celebrating like a bell end when south africa beat us the summer before he 'became english' and the stuart broad and others involved in the twitter account ripping it out of KP

If we're a better team with him in it, even if he's passing detailed descriptions of how to get our top order out to the opposition captain, with back-up plans, then he should be picked.

There are bigger tossers still in the team than him.

Nah mate thats different apparently.....

Disgrace the way someone of his talent has been left out. Laughable England as per!

It's a shame Bopara couldnt get injured in the 20/20 tournament so we could get him in. Poor that the best t20 batsmen in the world ain't playing

he hasnt really done anything wrong, its just been handled very badly, should have been handled like trap and jimmy mac situation

the thing is we need him back as he is world class and we have nothing in county cricket to come in and provide us anything like he does

He's opening for Australia at the moment.

Hopefully the truth about his non selection will come out soon, and then everyone can move on with the next generation of players doing the business for England on the field.

I just wish people would move on. KP has acted the wanker and is suffering for it. He thinks he's bigger and better than everyone else and has some right to be special and get special treatment. England need to move on as do people on here and wish the current crop of players all the very best ahead of a tough tour for India. Sadly I think some idiots will be wanting England to fail just to say "should have selected KP" blah blah and "Bopara is a disgrace" which seems to be the common theme at present.

KP is history, he'll be at a university outground in April if people are that obsessed with him.

It's amazing what some fans will let players off with. He basically stuck 2 fingers up to every England fan in the country and some still lick his arse.

I think he burnt too many bridges in the summer like and to have a go at young Taylor in one match was a disgrace imo.

Kevin Pietersen to say sorry and trigger an England recall

Kevin Pietersen's return to the England team could be confirmed within the next 48 hours.
The batsman is expected to make a fresh apology, starting a process that could see him added to the India tour squad.
Pietersen, 32, will say sorry for sending "provocative" text messages and commit himself to playing for England in all forms of cricket.
He has not played for England since being dropped for the final Test against South Africa in August.

Pietersen's international record
Test debut: v Australia (Lord's), 21 July 2005

Test record: 88 matches, 151 innings, 7,076 runs, highest score 227, average 49.48, 27 fifties, 21 centuries

One-day international debut: v Zimbabwe (Harare), 28 November 2004

ODI record: 127 matches, 116 innings, 4,184 runs, highest score 130, average 41.84, 23 fifties, nine centuries

T20 international debut: v Australia (Southampton), 15 June 2005

T20 international record: 36 matches, 36 innings, 1,176 runs, highest score 79, average 37.93, seven fifties
BBC cricket correspondent Jonathan Agnew said: "It does appear that the first stage of Pietersen's reintroduction to the England camp will start sometime this week - and possibly as early as Tuesday.
"This will include an apology from the batsman for his conduct, and particularly for the text messages that were sent between him and the South African dressing room.
"We can also expect an assurance that England's commitments will come first - that is, after all, where all of this began and it remains the central issue.
"It will then be for the management and selectors to decide whether Pietersen will be a late addition to the team to tour India next month."

Pietersen had targeted a return to the national team for the tour of New Zealand in February.
But with England heading for a tricky tour to India in November, the batsman could be drafted in to boost an inexperienced batting line-up.
New Test and one-day captain Alastair Cook has been positive about Pietersen's return to the fold ever since taking over from Andrew Strauss.
India v England Test series
15-19 November: 1st Test, Ahmedabad (Motera)
23-27 November: 2nd Test, Mumbai (Wankhede Stadium)
5-9 December: 3rd Test, Kolkata
13-17 December: 4th Test, Nagpur
But he leads a team to India that includes uncapped pair Joe Root, 21, and Nick Compton, who hit 1,191 runs for Somerset this season.
Discussions between Pietersen and the England and Wales Cricket Board have been ongoing since the second Test against Proteas at Headingley, when the Surrey man himself cast doubts on his future - a claim he later backtracked from.

Pietersen also apologised to former captain Strauss, who was allegedly criticised in the texts he sent to the South Africans - although he denied he offered any tactical advice.
England begin their four-Test winter tour of India on 15 November in Ahmedabad, with subsequent fixtures in Mumbai from 23 November and Kolkata from 5 December, before finishing in Nagpur for the final Test which starts on 13 December.

ridiculous if they take him.
will he spit the dummy out if he's carrying the drinks?

It's all very well Peitersen saying sorry but it's another thing all together getting the senior players who threatened to quit overs his actions to accept it.

At the moment the problem isn't Peitersen, it's what other players will do if he's brought back, it's not as straight forward as him just saying sorry.

I still think he shouldn't be allowed in ANY dressing room again.

Flower looking forward to his return.

No shit

A bad winter and Flower's position will have to be looked at. Pietersen's inclusion slightly reduces the chances of a disastrous winter so Im sure he is as well.
