Sunderland goalkeeper Jordan Pickford has ruled out a move to Newcastle after rumours emerged linking him to Rafael Benitez's newly promoted side.
The 23-year-old has impressed for the recently relegated Black Cats this season, attracting the interest of a number of Premier League clubs in the process.
Newcastle are reportedly one of them, alongside the likes of Manchester City, Arsenal and Everton, but Pickford has categorically dismissed any possibility of a future switch to the Magpies.

Speaking to Sky Sports - via theYou must be logged on to see external links- Pickford claimed that the decision of former teammate Jack Colback to join Newcastle would not influence him to do the same.
“Jack’s playing on the other side of the water these days unfortunately,” said Pickford. “I would never do that.
“I couldn’t do it myself. I would never go to Newcastle. [Leaving Sunderland] is not something I’ve looked at yet and it’s not something I want to look at either.”
Might not be his choice if we get a £12m bid and the club accept it
would be embarrassing to accept that OFFER! Wouldn't surprise me.....if to sell nothing less than £20m up front instalments etcMight not be his choice if we get a £12m bid and the club accept it
once again are you mad or a closet mag NO £12 MILL BID would be looked at and we have an official bid rejected much higher that thatMight not be his choice if we get a £12m bid and the club accept it

Maybe, maybe not. Once financial reality sets in, the club may take a different stance. Again, I sad "IF"once again are you mad or a closet mag NO £12 MILL BID would be looked at and we have an official bid rejected much higher that that
Kone didn't
He's been telling people he's staying but it's impossible to believe anything football players say. I think the club would make the decision for him anyway
